How far in advance should I order flowers for Mother’s Day?
We recommend placing your order as soon as possible. The sooner you place your order, the sooner you can secure the flowers you want. When customers place their orders at the last minute, they risk not being able to have the exact arrangement they may desire. This is due to limited supplies and a high order volume during Mother’s Day. As florists fill orders, various flower types begin to run low or go out of stock. This often results in flower substitutions when needing to fill an order in a short time frame after the order has been placed late. When flowers go out of stock, shops are at the mercy of the shipping trucks that will bring in their fresh flower shipments for restocking.
It’s best not to place yourself in a pickle and provide yourself the security of locking in the flowers you desire as soon as possible.

Yes! Some customers prefer to pick up their flowers from the shop to offset a delivery fee or personally deliver their gift. It is up to you if you would like to take advantage of our flower delivery service. We would be delighted to meet you and assist you at CATHERINES. Can I request a flower substitution in my Thanksgiving arrangement?
Yes. However, during high order volume holidays, such as Thanksgiving, we recommend placing your order as early in the game as possible. This allows you more flexibility to select the exact arrangement or customize the flowers you want. When supplies are lower near the day of Thanksgiving, we will not be able to guarantee that certain flowers will be available and may have to suggest substitutions from the flowers we have available in stock.
